What happens when prices fall?
Your spending power falls with them, because it is derived from what your locked positions are worth now. It can fall below what you have already drawn.

What happens as the cushion thins?
The account says so. Repaying part of the balance or depositing more restores headroom.
What is the required level?
The level your locked collateral has to stay above, relative to what you have drawn. The gap above it is your headroom, and repaying part of the balance or depositing more restores it.
When can collateral be sold?
Collateral can be sold to settle what has been drawn, at market prices and on the market's timing. A sale can happen without notice, and it realises whatever gain or loss the position carries at that moment.
The account agreement carries these terms. The documents are at /legal.
Does a fall reduce what you owe?
No. Drawn balances have to be repaid whatever the market does. A fall reduces what the account can support, and what has already been drawn stays owed.

How do you restore headroom?
Repay part of the balance, or deposit more of what you hold. Both work at once, at any step.
