An account you can take apart.

Every figure below is computed from one example portfolio by the same engine the product runs on. Sort the holdings, scrub the chart, and push the market down to see what happens to the cushion.

Figures on this page describe one example account at the reference prices the pricing engine carries. They are an illustration of how the account works, not an offer, a quote, or anyone's balance.

Why the collateral column is smaller than the value column

A locked position counts toward spending power at its own rate, not at its full value. Cash counts for most of what it is worth because it does not move; a single-name tokenized equity counts for the least because it moves the most. The gap is the margin the account keeps so a fall in price does not immediately put the drawn balance underwater.

Those rates are set by the collateral catalog and can change, and eligibility is decided per asset. Neither is promised in advance.

Account health

Health is the cushion between what is locked and what is drawn. It is checked on every authorization, and a charge is declined below 1.25x cover. Move the market and watch it close.

New charges are declined from here, and holdings can be sold to settle the drawn balance.

A market move is applied to the priced positions and not to the cash lane, which is why an account holding cash falls further before it reaches either line. The falls quoted are for this example account at this drawn balance; a different balance moves both.

Activity

  • Tartine BakeryCard 2026-07-15 Dining-$126.00

Approved against available spending power. The charge added to the drawn balance and did not sell any position.

  • Spending power updatedSpending power 2026-07-15no money moved

Locked collateral was repriced, so the ceiling moved with it. Spending power is recalculated from what is locked, at each asset's own haircut.

  • United AirlinesCard 2026-07-13 Travel-$412.60

Approved. Larger charges draw more of the ceiling, so the cushion between collateral and drawn balance narrows until the balance is repaid.

  • Payment receivedPayment 2026-07-10+$2,956.00

A repayment reduces the drawn balance, which restores the same amount of spending power and widens the cushion.

  • Collateral value adjustedCollateral 2026-07-09no money moved

Reference prices moved. Collateral is marked at the value of what is locked, so this changes the ceiling and the cushion without any charge being made.

  • Automatic payment scheduledPayments 2026-07-06no money moved

  • Account connectedConnection 2026-06-11no money moved

A supported account was connected and its holdings became visible. Connecting an account does not lock anything: locking is a separate step you choose per position.

The schedule pays the balance down in equal principal steps and charges carry on what is still outstanding, which is the model the account's own payback plan uses. The rate applied here is the disclosure figure the account agreement carries, not a rate quoted to anyone.

Portfolio value
Everything the account holds, locked or not, at reference prices.
Eligible collateral
The market value of the positions you have locked. Unlocked positions count for nothing.
Spending power
Eligible collateral after each asset's haircut. The ceiling, before anything is drawn.
Drawn balance
What has been spent and not yet repaid, plus the carry accrued on it.
Utilization
The share of the ceiling in use. Not a score, and not a grade.
Account health
Locked collateral divided by the drawn balance. Charges are declined below 1.25x.

A term you have not met before is usually

a haircutthe share of a locked position that counts toward spending power. It is a margin the account keeps, not a fee, and nothing is deducted from your holdings.
or
account healththe ratio of locked collateral to the drawn balance. Above the guardrail the account spends normally; at it, charges are declined and holdings can be sold to settle what is drawn.
